I paint subjects around me using oil paint on canvas. I paint from direct observation as I believe that the experience gives my pictures a more accurate emotional response. Although I want to create realistic paintings, I am happy for the picture to evolve into a more expressive result. In fact it is successful for me when the picture evolves in an unexpected, but satisfying direction. Paintings are framed ready for sale and delivery is free in the local Sheffield area. Standard postage costs apply elsewhere.
